Nata­lia Salinas

Nata­lia Sali­nas ist eine argen­ti­ni­sche Diri­gen­tin mit Sitz in Frank­reich. Sie ist in Europa und Latein­ame­ri­ka aktiv und hat sich eine inter­na­tio­na­le Kar­rie­re in Zusam­men­ar­beit mit füh­ren­den Orches­tern, Opern­häu­sern und Fes­ti­vals auf­ge­baut; ihr Reper­toire reicht von sin­fo­ni­scher Musik über Oper bis Bal­lett. Aus­ge­zeich­net wurde sie u. a. mit dem Estab­lished Orches­tra Con­duc­tor Award bei den Natio­nal Clas­si­cal Awards of Argen­ti­na (2023) sowie dem Breakth­rough Artist Award der argen­ti­ni­schen Musik­kri­ti­ker­ver­ei­ni­gung (2021).

Zu ihren jüngs­ten Sta­tio­nen zählen ihr Debüt an der Oper Köln mit dem Gür­ze­nich-Orches­ter sowie Enga­ge­ments bei der Orques­ta Filar­mó­ni­ca de la Ciudad de México, der Orques­tra Sin­fô­ni­ca Muni­ci­pal de São Paulo und der Orques­tra Filar­mô­ni­ca de Minas Gerais; 2026 debü­tiert sie zudem am Thea­t­ro Muni­ci­pal do Rio de Janei­ro mit Mas­ca­g­nis „Caval­le­ria Rusticana«.

Neben ihrer sin­fo­ni­schen Lauf­bahn ist sie regel­mä­ßig im Opern­be­reich tätig, u. a. an der Oper Köln, am Teatro Colón, am Teatro Argen­ti­no de La Plata und am Thea­ter St. Gallen; geprägt wurde sie zudem durch das Jette Parker Artists Pro­gram­me des Royal Opera House und das Women Opera Makers Work­shop des Fes­ti­val d’Aix-en-Provence.

Ihre Zusam­men­ar­beit mit dem IMPULS-Fes­ti­val begann bereits 2021; 2026 kehrt sie im Rahmen des 20-jäh­ri­gen Jubi­lä­ums zurück. Par­al­lel zu ihrer Diri­gier­tä­tig­keit pro­mo­viert sie im deutsch-fran­zö­si­schen Dop­pel­pro­gramm in Orches­ter­di­ri­gie­ren zwi­schen der Uni­ver­si­té de Stras­bourg, der Haute École des Arts du Rhin und der Hoch­schu­le für Musik Frei­burg, mit For­schungs­schwer­punkt auf der Musik von Alber­to Ginastera.

Nata­lia Sali­nas is an Argen­ti­ne con­duc­tor based in France. Active across Europe and Latin Ame­ri­ca, she has built an inter­na­tio­nal career col­la­bo­ra­ting with lea­ding orchestras, opera houses and fes­ti­vals, with a reper­toire span­ning sym­pho­nic music, opera and ballet.

Her work has been reco­gni­zed with the Estab­lished Orches­tra Con­duc­tor Award at the Natio­nal Clas­si­cal Awards of Argen­ti­na (2023) and the Breakth­rough Artist Award from the Music Cri­tics Asso­cia­ti­on of Argen­ti­na (2021), whose jury prai­sed her artis­tic vision, musi­cal depth and expres­si­ve leadership.

Recent high­lights include her debut at Oper Köln with the Gür­ze­nich-Orches­ter, fol­lo­wed by enga­ge­ments with the Orques­ta Filar­mó­ni­ca de la Ciudad de México, the Orques­tra Sin­fô­ni­ca Muni­ci­pal de São Paulo, the Orques­tra Filar­mô­ni­ca de Minas Gerais, and her debut at the Sala São Paulo. In 2026, she will make her debut at the his­to­ric Thea­t­ro Muni­ci­pal do Rio de Janei­ro, con­duc­ting Mascagni’s Caval­le­ria Rusti­ca­na.

Along­side her sym­pho­nic career, Sali­nas has deve­lo­ped a strong pre­sence in opera, col­la­bo­ra­ting with insti­tu­ti­ons inclu­ding Oper Köln, Teatro Colón, Teatro Argen­ti­no de La Plata, Thea­ter St. Gallen, and Teatro delle Muse, among others. Her artis­tic deve­lo­p­ment has also been enri­ched through the Jette Parker Artists Pro­gram­me at the Royal Opera House, the Opéra Natio­nal du Rhin Obser­ver­ship Pro­gram­me, and the Women Opera Makers Work­shop at the Fes­ti­val d’Aix-en-Provence.

Her col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with IMPULS Fes­ti­val began in 2021 and has played an important role in her artis­tic deve­lo­p­ment, fos­te­ring col­la­bo­ra­ti­ons with inter­na­tio­nal­ly renow­ned com­po­sers and ensem­bles while fur­ther expan­ding her artis­tic acti­vi­ty across Europe. She is hono­u­red to return to IMPULS in 2026 as part of the festival’s 20th anni­ver­sa­ry cele­bra­ti­ons. She has also col­la­bo­ra­ted with Ensem­ble Musik­fa­brik, Ensem­ble Phoe­nix Basel, and the Taschen­opern­fes­ti­val Salz­burg, con­tri­bu­ting to pro­jects dedi­ca­ted to con­tem­po­ra­ry music.
